English in Edinburgh - courses for young learners

Edinburgh - Young Learners´ Course – Summer 2012

In addition to a year-round centre in Newcastle, International House offer a summer centre: IH Edinburgh from 17th June to 29th July 2012

The English and Activities course is primarily for young learners, 11-17 years old, and will take place in Pollock Halls http://www.edinburghfirst.co.uk/for-accommodation/pollock-halls which has amazing facilities and is located within a 10 minutes walk from the centre of this beautiful, historic city!

The school that Hogwarts was based upon is also within easy reach of the city. Other highlights of the course will include a visit to Sterling Castle the home of ‘Braveheart’ and location of many other famous films as well as Loch Ness in the Highlands!!

Turkish

Currently I'm visiting Alanya in Turkey, where I've been to Tömer which provides Turkish Language courses and teaching materials. This centre is run by Ankara University which has a number of centres throughout Turkey.

Online learning

Netlanguages English Corner Online (ECO)  is covered in Study Travel Magazine. Eco is a free social networking site that connects EFL students worldwide. Getting started
